Buff Book

Buff is a project which investigates the culture of graffiti removal as an art form within Dublin. It is an exploration of the colours, compositions and concepts offered up by these mostly undocumented public artworks that exist on Dublin's streets. The artworks were investigated by Stephen Burke and documented through analogue photography by Dublin based photographer Fiachra Corcoran.

The book, authored by Stephen Burke and Fiachra Corcoran, introduces a text that presents new perspectives and conceptual frameworks for contextualizing graffiti removal within an artistic context. This research builds upon the insights of artist Avalon Kalin, who is interviewed within this book and is regarded as one of the earliest artists to investigate this topic.

The publication is a hardback photobook designed by Eric Stynes and was published in August 2017 by 1815 Magazine.
